W najbliższych miesiącach światło dzienne ujrzy dokument w odcinkach pod tytułem „GNR: The First 50 Gigs”.

Jego twórcą jest Marc Canter, który niegdyś przyjaźnił się ze Slashem i Axlem, a teraz na potrzeby nowego projektu sięgnął do swoich przepastnych archiwów.

Dokument jest poświęcony początkom kariery Guns N’ Roses, zdobywaniu przez nich popularności na Sunset Strip oraz pracom nad wydaniem debiutanckiej płyty. 

Canter udokumentował i uwiecznił na zdjęciach rodzenie się Guns N’ Roses – od kapeli Slasha z 1981 roku po wydanie „Appetite For Destruction” i pierwszą międzynarodową trasę koncertową z The Cult (1987).


Gospodarzem podcastu będzie Jason Porath, który pomagał Canterowi w pracach nad książką „Reckless Road”.
Pierwsze dwa odcinki zostały już nagrane.

To może być prawdziwa gratka dla osób, które są spragnione informacji o początkach Gunsów. Niby wiele wiemy, ale wciąż możemy dowiedzieć się więcej.

"Season 1 Production Notes

Welcome to all of our new subscribers! Since we released the teaser trailer a few days ago for the show and got picked up by music blogs around the world, we saw a lot more fans join our project. So, thank you!

First off, we apologize for such a long stretch without updates. Pulling together all the story threads to create Season One of GNR: The First 50 Gigs has been an all consuming effort, but we are well on our way.

While the planning, development and design of the show took way more time that we thought, we have now recorded the first few interviews including Marc Canter, Rob Gardner and Chris Weber and have many more scheduled. Thank you for all the input from our followers who provided feedback on our proof-of-concept efforts and helped to shape this project.

No matter how much we plan and script this project, we're finding that the story wants to take us to unexpected places. That's the power of the podcast format, we have the room to follow into unexplored places that expands the GNR origin story in very interesting ways. We're excited to share it all with you, so thanks for your patience while we put this together.

By now, most of you have seen our short trailer and we hope to be sharing more video snippets as we move through the post production process.
