Man - the last month for me has just been a whirlwind of emotion. Get to that in a minute.

We are in rehearsals with GnR. Well, we really AREN'T rehearsing much, we are auditioning guitar players. Whatever pays the bills, right? Here's how it works. We generally get two guys a day. They come in and plug in to a provided amp and play the same 8 songs (some old, some new). The whole thing is video taped and I am mixing the sound for the video. Then later on the tapes are reviewed by management and the band to weed out the ones that are definite NO's. Then there is a call back process where the dude plays the SAME eight songs to have another shot at it.

So pretty much I hear the same 8 GnR songs twice a day, every day, with various attempts of guitar players trying to prove themselves and get the gig. There is a vast range from some of the worst guitar playing that I have ever heard, to truly amazing guitar players. How some the horrible guys get an audition I will never know, but you can pretty much tell right off the bat if the following 8 songs are going to be a waste of everyone's time.

And that's how it goes. Probably going to be doing this for a few more weeks, until they weed thru all the horrible players and get down to the nitty gritty of the really good call backs.

Went down to see Glen on Sunday. It was horrible. He is in a medically induced coma so basically he is lying there lifeless in CCU with all kinds of tubes coming out of him. It was quite shocking, actually, to see someone you know has so much life and is so strong to be in that position. I have to admit that it made me break down and cry. But I know that he can beat this thing - it is just going to be a LONG war, instead of a short battle. Please keep the prayers coming - I KNOW he is going to be OK. God has more plans for him and his family.

Anyway - it is a bit like groundhog day here. Same shit, different day. Again I am just thankful to have work. There is a lot of people NOT working right now, and I know that I am VERY lucky.

Dziwne że Atlas jeszcze się w sieci nie znalazł, skoro ma być już w maju (z tego co pamiętam jakoś w połowie maja chyba się kończy umowa z BB) Ale jak tak będzie (nowa okładka + nowy kawałek) to jasne, że kupię

Atlas miał byc z May'em. Ciekawe czy go wycieli jak w CITRze czy zostawią. Ja sie doczekać nie moge bo na ChD zadużo premier nie było

oczywiście chodzi o kasę...
ze względów kolekcjonerskich chociażby kupię, gdyby takowa wyszła...
a okładka po lewej kojarzy mi się z aborcją  ogólnie kiepska moim skromnym zdaniem...
a tak w ogóle to mądrzejszym posunięciem byłoby wydanie jakiegoś singla z nowym utworem plus jakimś kawalkiem z CHD w wersji koncertowej

Dla mnie byłoby to zwykłym wyciąganiem kasy dwa razy za to samo,chociaż okładki bardziej mi pasują niż rower.
Poczekamy,zobaczymy.
