We’re looking at a March or April 2010 release date for Slash’s first-ever "solo" album, titled simply, Slash.
The album will be released in Europe by Roadrunner Records, and the first single, "Sahara" was released in Japan on November 11. "Sahara" debuted at #4 on the Japanese charts. The first UK single will apparently be "Crucify the Dead" with Ozzy Osbourne. Slash's tour will coincide with the album release.
Produced by Eric Valentine (Smash Mouth, Queens of the Stone Age, The All-American Rejects), Slash has recorded at least 19 tracks for the album which was recorded analog.
The album features four of the five original members of Guns N' Roses: Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Steven Adler and Duff McKagan. Singer Axl Rose is the only original Guns N' Roses member absent from album.
