Slash ma już nagranych 6 utworów na swój solowy album, a około 8 w planach. Utwory określa jako 'great playing & super killer tones'. Nadal nie mamy oficjalnej listy wokalistów, ale Slash podaje tytuły robocze niektórych piosenek:

- These last words
- Crucify the dead
- Beautiful, dangerous
Poszukiwania wokalisty wciąż trwają.

DAY TWO [ May 2nd 2009]

After lunch it was time for Duff McKagan from Gun’s N Rose’s and Velvet Revolver to visit the camper bands. He is looking great and I could feel the buzz at the rehearsal studio about him being there

At 5 o’clock it was time for Duff to do a Q and A with the campers at a theatre down the block from the studio. He told jokes and answered the campers questions about his career. Duff is a great guy with tons of rock experience. He finally got to visit my band afterwards, and we played the Beatle song proudly. He said we sounded amazing and he loved the way our room sounded. Small but mighty I guess!

After pix and autographed I was chatting vintage basses with him, as I am sure he has quite the collection. What was really interesting was the surprise walk through from Steven Adler the drummer from Guns. We spoke for a bit in the hall, and he was of course really impressed with what he saw from his visit.

Sentymentalny powrot z Dizzym

Zespol Empty V:TROY PATRICK FARRELL (WHITE LION/PRETTY BOY FLOYD), SCOTTY GRIFFIN (LA GUNS), oraz ERIC DOVER (SEXTUS, JELLYFISH).
razem z Dizzym Reed'em zagraja pierwsza piosenke puszczona przez MTV (wg wikipedii w USA byla to "Video Killed the Radio Star" zespolu The Buggles w 1981r) oraz inne hity z wczesnych lat 80. w Los Angeles 3 czerwca. Zwiazane jest to z powstaniem nowej telewizji na zywo.

Duff McKagan o Green Day i FHT

"Seattle Weekly" przeprowadziła wywiad z Duff'em McKagan'em (Loaded, Velvet Revolver) w którym to były basista Guns'and'Roses bardzo pochlebnie wypowiedział się o zespole Green Day:
"W zeszłym tygodniu byłem na występie Green Day'a w klubie Roxy. Po tym gdy obejrzałem występ ich alter-ego - Foxboro Hot Tubs, stałem sie ich wielkim fanem. Foxboro Hot Tubs pokazuje, jak dobrymi muzykami sa Mike, Billie i Tre i jak swobodny i radosny może być rock'and'roll. Green Day wiedzą jak pisać hity. Po tym co zobaczyłem ,stwierdzam że jakims sposobem udało im się utrzymać punkową etykę, wobec sukcesu mainstream'owego. Jako kumpel po fachu, doceniam ich talent do komponowania dobrych piosenek,a Ci goście ciąglę to robią. To był zdecydowanie świetny koncert. Robi wrażenie, gdy się widzi jak KeyArena jest wysprzedana."

Cleaning Slash's Closet

Hey all,
This is Erin, Slash's assistant.
Over the past couple of days Perla and I have been cleaning out Slash's closet to get together items to auction for our favorite charitable organization, LAYN. (Los Angeles Youth Network). www.layn.org

We decided that many of the items we have pulled most likely
can generate a lot of interest from fans, if Slash has worn them in videos, on stage during major performances, or in a major article in a magazine such as Rolling Stone.

I have tons of hats, leather jackets, and pants that he may or may not have worn in photos and such, and I really need help documenting when and if he did.

This is where you guys come in!

If any of you can help me find photos of Slash at major performances/events, in photo shoots, or stills from any GNR, VR, or solo performances, and i can find specific pieces to donate based on your help, I will send you one of Slashs' Tshirts, Straight out of HIS CLOSET.These Tshirts arent GNR or VR merchandise, these are actual tshirts, worn by Slash, that he just doesnt have room for anymore.
